The purchase refers to a 10x10 pixel square (100 pixels) on the homepage, linked to a space containing a picture and a message. The amount varies according to the duration you choose: FOR FREE for one year, €100 for no-expiration mode.   When you 'buy' squares in FacesFromTheWorld.com you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site, but you will have the right to submit an image and one or two messages (you can provide it in your mother tongue and/or in English if you want) which will then be published on the homepage in the respective space you have paid for.   Images must necessarily be in BMP, GIF or JPEG format, 180 x 180 pixel, maximum file size 500Kb.   The maximum size for each message is 230 letters or spaces.   You cannot change the image or message after having submitted them, so you must be sure of the image and message you want to be published on the homepage, because they will be there for at least the period you paid for.   If your image and message are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.   No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted. We decide what is appropriate for the site. If you submit an image, message or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your pixels. You are totally responsible for the text in the message when it's in a language different from english or italian. You are totally responsible too for the image sent and for contents and people that are shown in the image. We publish what you send us.   The site and homepage will be online for at least 5 years (starting from the launch day), so at least until 20th February 2011, but possibly even longer (that's what we want to do).   There might be occasional maintenance in the site, but downtime will possibly be kept to the minimum.   Funds must be fully received and cleared before your pixels go live on the homepage.   If for any reason in the future you want your image and message removed from the homepage, it will be possible, but you will not get any refund and the space will become publicly available again.   Once you have placed your order, the funds have been cleared (eg. in our PayPal or bank account) and you have replied to the confirmation mail (attaching the image you want to publish), we will aim to get your face and message online within 24-48 hrs (but please be patient if it takes a little bit longer.)

Faces From The World (FFTW) Privacy Notice FFTW knows that you care how information about you is handled. We will take care about your personal info carefully and sensibly. By visiting FFTW, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice. The only pieces of information we learn from users are the ones given in the registration page. Information you give us: we receive and store the information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide to send you back a confirmation e-mail after your registration and we will wait for your reply with the picture attached. Then we will show your face, name, surname, country, message, coordinates and "online until" in your public space. E-mail communications: we receive and store your e-mails to make our answers more useful and interesting and even for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future browsing for you, improving our site and communicating with you. Information about our users will not be used by nobody but FFTW that will eventually send email with news about the site. We don't intend to share information with third-party advertisers.
